The Minister underlined the need for economic projects of major magnitude to buttress the strong relationship between Sri Lanka and the Russian Federation.
The visiting delegation said that Gazprom would be happy to bear the expenses of training a team of Sri Lankans in one of Russia’s leading institutions in the field of oil and gas technology.

These are companies popular only in Russia and corruption filled regimes. Their technology is poor and obsolete with high levels of waste. Russian companies tread and scrounge where others do not have a desire or the business is more bogus to be factual.

My friend and myself were in Russia. Russians never respect Asians specially people like us. Even in most of the European countries treat us equally to respect their law and there is no love on us! Our good friends are really in the south Asian sun continent! We have problems due to our economy and poor understanding about ourselves. Our regional economy and technology are improving! If we unite then we will have chance to have better life! I am totally agree with MR & TNA stand! It does not mean that we should avoid others!

Tony, these guys are not charity people. They are here for a benefit. The problem with US/UK/Europe is that even though they want to come here they cannot because of the influence of the diaspora on their politician's electorate. Russia and China has no such problems.

Russia & China are not even recognized as first world countries!
