This rag is open to all to comment, irrespective of Colour. Just a quick look at the comments and a count of "Thumbs Up" and "Thumbs Down" should tell the governing types, the actual mood of the people of Sri Lanka. Fore warned is fore armed. That does not mean, to use arms and weapons of destruction, but to make appropriate changes to appease an ailing public. Mr. President, Sir, the writing is clearly on the walls. Please pay attention.

Get Minister Maithripala Sirisena to conduct the inquiry and we will have hilarious findings

    Citizan Sunday, 08 April 2012 05:31 AM

There is no need to express our views about it. It is the duty of the police. Our concern is as to why the police took so longer time to execute their duties.

    raja Monday, 09 April 2012 06:44 AM

Remove Loku Aiya from Kelaniya, everything will fall into place as before. The police must be given a free hand to carry out their duties without any interference.

many of Loku Ayya's business will be closed, how is he going to get an income ?

    Challenger Saturday, 07 April 2012 03:00 AM

MPs and Ministers who did anything to please the bosses should know that the bosses will change their stances when the mood of the people change, which threatens their very existence and continuance. This is the first showing of how things will start changing. Small time politicians, know that water always flow downwards.

    Shan Saturday, 07 April 2012 02:55 AM

But the real story is, The police will fail to arrest the real Kingpin behind these activities.."The Doctor"..Over to you Mr President..so that you can set up another baseless commission to investigate the findings..

    Nodrog Saturday, 07 April 2012 04:00 AM

First crackdown on the biggest menace in Kelaniya (and the rest of the island)....!

Calistus Jayatilleke Saturday, 07 April 2012 04:22 AM

The Police should also raid the drug peddlars too and arrest the drug mafia headed by the "Doctor". Then only Kelaniya would be a clean and safe place.

    Gamage Saturday, 07 April 2012 05:18 AM

It would not happen , If Mervyn was given full power. :(

He is such a holy man , do not kill animals and even try to stop chilly and tomato plants.

He openly said , old kings killed the people , but he is kind enough to reduce the punishments by only breaking the limps.
