Colombo temperature keeps dropping

The temperature of Colombo drops to 18.8 Celcius, the Met Department said. Also the temperatures of Nuwara Eliya and Batticaloa were reported 7.9 Celcius and 16.9 Celcius  respectively. The Met Department also expects unusual high rainfall for the next few months.

Meanwhile the Director General of Met Department G.B. Samarasinghe says cold weather situation experiencing these days is not new and it is to continue, he also advices the public to take precautions to save themselves from infections and illness

    during day time it is around 26-23 C and at night around 18-16 C. Winter clothes are not necessary cuz it isn't so cold
