Video: Channa and Upuli summoned to PRECIFAC

Popular dancers Channa and Upuli Wijewardena, who own the Channa-Upuli Dancing Academy, were summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC), this morning to record a statement relating to the probe carried out into the expenditure of the opening ceremony of the Hambantota Harbour.

The statement had been provided at the BMICH and it had been on a performance made by them at the harbor opening. It is reported that the lavish harbor opening cost over 15 million rupees.

    Rs 15 million was just petty cash for the Rajapaksas. I am surprised that they did anything less than 50 million. It would not have been worth their while.
