Price of a 50 kg cement packet will be increased between Rs. 68 -85 with effect from midnight today.

Meanwhile, the price of one kilo of chicken will be increased by Rs. 30, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Internal Trade said.

okay I dont understand. Why is the govt talking about chicken prices ? Anyway chicken prices are not controlled by the govt.evry chicken shop has different price and change as an when they wish. So can someone explain please ?
