today a strong UNP member told that they do not trust the people that were appointed to the committee to investigate the matter. Ranil need to act more carefully or else this will be a very short stay for him as PM, shorter than the previous time.

If there is nothing to hide, do not fear about who is in the committee. Appoint independent members to the committee and build the public confidence. We are not fools. we can sense where this is heading.

    Ranja Wednesday, 18 March 2015 11:13 AM

You promised to do GOOD. Keep the promise. Believe people not Robbers.

no Arrest Tuesday, 17 March 2015 05:47 PM

Mr. Ranil, most of your actions will bring defeat again. Public wants to know why you still silent on arresting criminals and culprits

ganeshan harischandra Tuesday, 17 March 2015 05:46 PM

why blame mahendran, when the real culprit who ochestrated this whole affair is dinesh weerakody, because ranil did not give him this job. furthermore all the publicity is to embarass the unp. this a case of portraying the unp leader as a tamil lover, and that only the sinhalese can run the central bank. r wickremasinghe is the only sinhala leader who can build a united sri lanka, so do not cast aspersions on his careful appointments made on merit.

If this was done the moment this news (of the involvement of Alosius) broke out, there would have been no outcry

Surprise to learn people criticize without facts. Some do not have patients to wait for findings to be published.

    Premalal Tuesday, 17 March 2015 04:37 PM

You yourself will be sent on leave very soon unless you act your part as the prime minister of the country.

    moodayoo Tuesday, 17 March 2015 04:35 PM

This is only possible in totally corrupted society. If this happened in my country not only head of cb but also finance minister will resign.

    Prianath Tuesday, 17 March 2015 04:35 PM

Why not " send him on compulsory leave " ?Why not " reverse the transaction " till conclusion of the investigation ?Why 3 stooges from Sirikotha ,why not from the State ?

    Batangala Tuesday, 17 March 2015 04:30 PM

This is not what the voters expected from you Ranil. This incident and your reaction will definitely bounced back on UNP in the coming election.

    krishantha Tuesday, 17 March 2015 04:24 PM
