22 injured as bus skids off road

Twenty-two persons were injured when an SLTB bus met with an accident near Bogawantalawa estate when it skidded off the road last night, police said.

The bus belonging to the Hatton depot was traveling from Bogawantalawa to Hatton.
The wounded were admitted to the Bogawantalawa Hospital while three of them have been transferred to Glankan and Nawalapitiya hospitals for further treatment.

A driver and his assistant of another lorry that was also damaged by the skidding bus were admitted to the hospital for further treatment
