Bus fares will go up?

Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association said it was considering whether to increase the bus fares due to the increase of fuel prices since last night.

LPBOA Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne told Daily Mirror online that it would issue a joint statement shortly after discussing the matter.(Ajith Siriwardana)

    Of course, this has to go up. if Petrol/Deisel gone from 3 Ruppes, they have to increase each 1km from 5 ruppees. Fxxxing government, Transportation should be public. Goto Europe and see how their public Transport.

    buses dont run on water and they dont get a chance to increase prices when everything else such as tyres,spares,engine lubricants etc etc go up in price dont kill the messenger for bearing the bad news the country needs a radical change in governance a clean no nonsense technocratic govt however looking at the morons we have on both sides such a wish is only a pipe dream. unless the people are ready to think of rulers /governments outside the political cesspool "like billionaires in communist china time to think of rulers who aren't politicians" via DM Android App
