Why should we worry about what happens to Brtis in Sri Lanka?
UK is our colonial past, not the future. Get over it.

This is true. Happens all the time in Colombo bars and night clubs. Also international school kids are doing this in Colombo. It's a terrible problem and must be handled quickly. via DM Android App

Bombily Monday, 14 April 2014 01:15 PM
Yes it could happen anywhere.
It does happen in UK as well but culprits are caught and punished.
But in SL because the law & order has gone to dogs, although the culprits are known, most of the time they are politicos or their gundas & hence no punishment.

Ive heard reports that this happens in thailand esp around the islands of ko tao ko phagnan nd ko samui ! Drinks are spiked with drugs to keep the people hooked on in buying more of it. Best to not accept drinks from strangers or drink at shady bars.

Ahmed Sunday, 13 April 2014 12:19 AM
There can be one isolated incident . this can happen any where in the world. However, its not good for the countries image and its very serious threat to the tourism. Government should take very serious steps to counter this if at all happening these kind of things.
