The clash erupted after a poster against university ragging put up by the Science faculty was removed by another student.
The student groups involved in the clash were called for discussions with the University officials tomorrow.

Most university students are peacefull law abiding with anti ragging sentiment.IUSF is the legitimamde university body (thuggerry group) who need to conteneu nihilistic, insane act of ragging and propagate and expedite JVP nasty idias throughout the universitis with any cost.they are not hesitate to kill even fellow students to achieve their goals.

There should be a proper proceedure to govern uni students.Rather,if one group taken out from the uni for ever the rest will be scaed to mediate to such curruptions.

We have to have strict laws in the university. If found guilty of doing unlawfull activities barred from registering in any universities for a period of10 years ( max) .Else this will never end and at the end of the day TAX PAYEES MONEY AT A WASTE..............

This is the true Ideology of Sri Lankans, Who is feeble gets all the blame for whatever they stand for. Here an IUSF student is being beaten.
IUSF is general student’s body;any one can be an active member in IUSF from whatever the origin UNP, SLFP or JVP. JVP has its own student organization as well as other parties in the uni. As I’ve heard IUSF is strictly against Ragging and has done their best to control this in Uni’s for the past few years though its not their responsibility.
Governments are succeeding in making divisions among students labeling student groups call raggers and anti-raggers, any other name you found at uni, So that when students have conflicts among them self they cannot stand for their common wealth and degrading of free education system in SL.
