US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Nisha Biswal, in a tweet said that she was impressed more by Eric Solheim's “care and concern for all Sri Lankans” than his knowledge of Sri Lanka.

Solheim, a former Foreign Minister of Norway and Special Peace Envoy for Sri Lanka was a crucial broker in the peace deal between the Government and the LTTE.

Solheim on April 12th tweeted that he was impressed by Nisha's meet and said that the “US was playing a crucial role in supporting  democracy and the rights of all communities in Sri Lanka”

Biswal's tweet posted today was in reply to Solheims. The discussions the duo had and other details of the meeting remain uncertain.

Wonder why every one around the world is worried about Sri Lanka? For over 30 years we suffered under horrendous terrorism, but none of these so called human rights people ever came to see what was happening or helped us to eradicate terrorism. Now they take advise from the defunct left over of the terror group members residing in their countries.
