BBS members released on bond

Six members of Bodu Bala Sena (BBS), including its General Secretary Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera were released on a bond of Rs. 100,000 each by Colombo Fort Magistrate today in connection with disrupting a media conference organised by Jathika Bala Sena.

BBS members appeared in the court today.

They were ordered to appear in court on June 9. The Magistrate advised all parties to act in a responsible manner without damaging religious harmony. (LS)
