Bahu ready to debate with Bandula

New Left Front Leader and Member of the Dehiwala Mount Lavinia Municipal Council Dr. Wickramabahu Karunaratne had accepted the challenge posed by Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardene for a public debate on the statement which the Minister earlier made that a family of three could survive by spending a maximum amount of Rs 7500 per month.

Dr. Karunaratne told Daily Mirror that he had already informed Minister about his intention for a public debate and is negotiating with him on the matter.

He said a private TV channel had come forward to coordinate the debate and telecast it live.

“I decided to go for the debate as I want to prove that the minister is trying to teach people how to live like paupers,” he said. (Yohan Perera )

Bahu is only a spent force ,always barking at the wrong tree regarding the national issues. Whatever is said about his acedemic qualfications ,he is an utter failure in politics who cannot muster 5000 votes these days. So may be Bandu get away scot free even he is at wrong.

fIRST FIND OUT THE MEAL COST I PARLIAMENT ( NOT THE SELLING PRICE) They wanted rent of 100,000/- per month and other increment and perks and wants us to eat 2 meals a day or low quality food like in boarding houses,,, not descent rented house... no proper clothes, may to buy the used cloths that is being sold in the market etc etc

Rs. 2500/- enough for a person to eat 3 meals for a month. No prob. Its brunch and dinner with a sugarless black tea in da evening. Sugar and sweet food are not good for health.
