Award-winning Film Editor dies

Award-winning film editor Lal Piyasena (61) who was behind the success of several outstanding Sinhala films passed away today.

His remains will lie at his residence No. 23/1, 2nd Lane, Egodawatte Road, Boralesgamuwa while the funeral will take place on Sunday, October 21  at 6 pm at the General Cemetery, Borella.

Lal Piyasena was the editor in films like Karumakkarayo, Ganga Addara, Viragaya, Anantha Rathriya, Pavuru Walalu, Mahagedara, Yahalu Yeheli and others.
