sri lankan heroes should not get in to dirty politics, it is for the most undesirables???
Gayan Samarasekara Tuesday, 18 January 2011 03:32 AM
As a government supporter such actions like this will thrill you at the moment. When it comes to contradicting to your opinions someday you will start criticizing it as a violation of democracy. In order to be secured under any regime, people should be matured enough to stand up for democracy irrespective of the love they have with the ruling party.
Ashoka Tuesday, 18 January 2011 03:40 AM
Democracy is in grave danger in our country. People cannot do even a demostration, The surprising matter is still some people support this clang.

Why is MR and Gota trying to hound out all GFs supporters? Are they afraid of a Deva Kopaya! or a complete revolution to oust the Rajapakse Inc. in Sri Lanka very soon!!!
gona Tuesday, 18 January 2011 09:35 AM
Convenient to be out of the country when he knew he was due to attend court. In any country this would result in a warrant being issued, so why are some of you asking for different treatment, this is exactly the problem that the country is trying to get away from

He should have be arrested and charged for High Treason on the spot during the demonstration!! Even now if he pledges his loyalty to MR, he can get a royal pardon.
dwight Monday, 17 January 2011 04:58 PM
arjuna is also atrue hero.he lead from front during his cricketing days.He never wanted to get the credit by just staying in ac roos saying that he is the captain and he should get the full credit for victories. He toiled under the hot sun and rain.Batted, fielded and lead the team.He is also like sf and that is why he is also trying to get the freedom for real war hero
bash Monday, 17 January 2011 05:12 PM

Spencer L Monday, 17 January 2011 05:13 PM
There cannot be different laws for MP's and general public. He should be taken in to custody and present before the court.
Ali Khan Monday, 17 January 2011 05:35 PM

Many many arrest warrents for opponents.... but not a single for govt. culprits, thugs criminals or govt. pals like KP etc...
Thas Monday, 17 January 2011 09:52 PM
Whether there is warrent or anything else, nothing will happen. May be the Magistrate will be transfered on punishment. That's SL.
Ranjith Monday, 17 January 2011 10:34 PM
For those who are against the regime, our courts and police acts very fast. No fair go for ordinary. Are we living in Myanmar, China or North Korea?
Karuna Amman Tuesday, 18 January 2011 02:33 AM

Regi Tuesday, 18 January 2011 02:51 AM
