The Maligakanda Chief Magistrate G. Priyantha ordered that leader of the New Sihala Urumaya Sarath Manamendra who had pleaded guilty to cheating a youth by promising him a job in Japan, be arrested today.
The suspect Manamendra had paid Rs. 400,000 out of Rs. 600,000 which he had to pay. The court issued the arrest order as he had failed to make the rest of the payment. (Indika Ramanayeka)

What about arresting other cheaters, including some holding Ministerial posts?
