Army soldier dies in accident

A 28-year-old army soldier had been killed in a freak train accident inside a tunnel in Mount Lavinia yesterday, the Police said.  


They said the bag of the victim had tangled with the foot board of the train, while he was walking towards the railway station with 16 other soldiers after a swimming training.
