April 15 declared a public holiday

Public Administration and Home Affairs Minister W.D.J. Senevirathne said April 15 has been declared as a public holiday in view of the Sinhala - Hindu New Year.

The decision was taken as the New Year Celebrations fall during the weekend this time.(Ajith Siriwardana)
