Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa testifying before the White Flag Case at the High Court a short while ago said, that not only Sarath Fonseka, but anyone else in such position and command would have achieved a similar outcome.

He added that even the Air Force Commander and the Navy Commander had worked hard to win the war.

Mr. Rajapaksa noted that he had seen the news article that appeared on the front page of the Sunday Leader on December 13 ,2009 and that the contents in the news was made-up and erroneous.
