A 23 year old mother has given birth to a quintuplet (three girls and two boys) last night at a private hospital in Colombo, hospital sources said.

Non of the news items regarding these births state weather this is due to fertility treatment or not, It would help the public to know as many people take up this treatment nowadays and in most cases causes the mother to have many children. It would be good to know for people considering this treatment and the financial and commitment that is needed. Anyway I wish the mother and father the best with these babies.
