A group of prisoners at the Anuradhapura prison have launched another protest campaign today demanding the authorities to arrest the prison officer, who allegedly shot and killed one of the inmates at the prison during the incident on Monday, informed sources said.

These prisoners are conducting the protest on the roof of the prison building without having their meals, they said.

On Monday, one prisoner was shot dead and 25 others including prisoners and jailors were injured during a clash.
