Anoma Fonseka, the wife of detained former Army Chief Sarath Fonseka, says she respects First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa, wife of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, adding that she is a good mother of three sons.

“Actually we were very good friends with the Rajapakse’s when my husband was the Army Commander. And to date, I still respect the First Lady, Madam Rajapakse. She is a very good lady but most of all she is a very good mother to her three sons. I adore her and will always respect her. But I do not want to comment about the other Rajapakses,” Anoma Fonseka told Daily Mirror online in an interview.
