One coach for a particular tournament another one to another tournament. What is this????? why can't they hire a good coach to a long term like the SL cricket do????? This is absolutely useless effort......

A good coach is important but you need the following in order to do be competitive at least in Asian Level.
First of all the Rugby clubs in Sri Lanka should join hands with the SL Rugby selection committee without any political or personal motive in mind.
Or if some players are selected, some clubs/players opt out (E.g. CR & Kandy). This was the case in the recent past. For this a Hierarchical intervention is required (like the President himself) or an appointed representative. Strict disciplinary action should be taken for players opting out, not only in player’s level but also in Club level.
Secondly Players who have an ancestry Sri Lankan blood who playing abroad should be able to play for Sri Lanka like many other countries.
Last but no means least the selected squad should be contracted with some financial rewards.
