An Albino Turtle believed to be the one lost in a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda, was recovered from the house of the hatchery owner’s daughter, police sources said today.

A rare species of albino turtle claimed to be worth over Rs.35 million was stolen from a private turtle hatchery and research centre in Kosgoda Last December.

Police said investigations were continuing to find out whether the complainant Chandrasiri Abrew had made a false complaint in which it was claimed that singer Amal Perera could have stolen the turtle.

However, following the discovery of the albino turtle from his daughter’s house, Abrew had got himself admitted to a hospital, and the police are to record a statement from him. Police said if it was found that Abrew had made a false complaint initially, steps would be taken to arrest him.

Meanwhile, singer Amal Perera had identified the albino turtle that was found yesterday as the one he had initially made an offer.

This is the difference between a son and a daughter. When father is living the daughter gets everything father has to enjoy her life with boy friends. Sajith Premadasa and Navin Dissanayake are great sons as they have never joined the accused killers of their fathers. But we can see this particular daughter joining the accused killers’ party. President must respect the culture of Muslims when appointing an organizer to Central Colombo as they, don’t accept in Holy Qur’ran unmarried woman (whether virgin or not virgin) engaging in active social work. First must get married and then should take part in active politics.
