Human life is cheap in Sri Lanka. No importance given to safeguarding ordinary citizens. Very sorry for the victims.

It is true that accidents can happen in any country, but they type of lawlessness and carelessness in motoring (as in Sri Lanka, India etc) is not to be seen in Europe, Japan etc. That's the truth.

We need to have strict rules in place prior to giving passenger transport vehicle permits and revenue license. Our present system of this is very bad and even the drivers should be given good training prior to taking on big vehicle which can lose control by making a small mistake.
