Abduction case: AG's Dept. considering what to do

A senior official of the Attorney General's Department said it was considering the action to be taken against MP Hirunika Premachandra over the recent kidnapping of a youth in the Dematagoda area.

He said the department had not yet taken a decision on the matter and was still studying the findings of the investigation.

Legal officers at the Attorney General's Department are perusing the extracts of investigation reports sent by the police, he said.(Manopriya Gunasekara)
