Three employees were killed in a fire broke out at a bakery near Kaleel’s Nursing Home in Maradana a short while ago, the Fire Brigade said and confirmed that operations were being carried out to rescue people reportedly trapped inside. (SD & LSP)

There are no standards followed by Sri lankans on the usage of LP gas. Fire department also shall take responsibility for giving fire approval without relevant inspections. Now it is high time to get the attention of law enforcement authorities to look in to these regulations and implementation of them.
