After the Supreme Court verdict on dissolution of parliament, UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said that they trust that the President will promptly respect the judgment of the courts.

"The legislature, judiciary and the executive are equally important pillars of a democracy and the checks and balances that they provide are crucial to ensuring the sovereignty of its citizens," he tweeted.

This was purely a victory for the democracy which you want uphold; congrats. However, you have to put your house in order with an announcement of initiating a leadership in party with the appointment of Sajith. And get the Bond Scam clearly ASAP. We know for one thing that you did not bag any bounty on the Scan but your friend and his cohorts did. They have to face justice. The cost is immense to the public.
