Visitors not allowed at prisons

The Prisons Department today said that all prison inmates in the country would not be permitted visitors, with effect from today, in order to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.

Commissioner of Prisons (Administration) Bandula Jayasinghe said no outsiders would be allowed to visit the inmates in prisons across the country, for a period of two weeks

    To prevent spreading the virus incise too late allready. Should have started 3,weeks ago. No more people living the countryside coming to the country, order all personal in hospitals to ware face masks, still not happening today.
