I learn now that the former president Sirisena was requested some details to be submitted to go ahead with the promised US $ 5 millions and this has been still not fulfilled by the presidential team. So please don't blame the donor but the party failed to respond to the request until now.

The information Muslim World League requested to go ahead with the grant from the then government were: 1.Number of casualties because of the attack. 2.Religion of the casualties. 3.List of the casualties and injured.4.Collateral damage to public properties. 5.Other relevant information 6. Account number of the president's or prime minister'charitable fund. No response for this official query up to now and how can you expect the check?

Although they should give since they told they will be giving, everyone should keep in mind that the WML doesn’t owe anybody anything as the attacks had not done by any Muslim or anyone related to Islam. They intended to give this as a sign of support and to shore that the attackers and Muslims are not the same.
