Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake today on a five-day official visit to Sri Lanka.
He is leading a delegation of high-level public and private-sector representatives from Thailand to Sri Lanka.
Thailand Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn had earlier said a meeting of economic ministers of the two countries would be held during the visit, which has the objective of boosting trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and Sri Lanka, the Nation Multimedia reported. (T.K.G. Kapila)
