The suspension imposed on all passenger arrivals at the Bandaranaike International Airport till April 8, would be extended until further notice, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said. The decision to extend the suspension has been taken by the CAA after considering the country's current pandemic situation. All passenger transit operations have been stopped for the moment. However, all import and export operations are to continue without interruption. The flight suspension came into effect from March 17. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama and T.K.G Kapila)
