Sumanthiran's security beefed up

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya yesterday informed Parliament that he has ordered the defense authorities to provide adequate security to TNA MP M A Sumanthiran who is said to be facing death threats.

The Speaker said he made this decision following a request made by MP Sumanthiran and on reports of a plot to assassinate him. (Yohan Perera)

Mr. Sumendran has death threat from LTTE only and it is originated from CV, no doubt and its clear. President should consider to deploy more security personal for him.
