Some good news about our national carrier. Its a good airline with good staff but unfortunately with bad management. It is very much like the country and the government. Good country with good talented people but with very bad leaders to manage. Very sad.

When I flew few weeks ago they were announcing at the airport that you will not be boarded if you did not reach 20 minutes before departure time, as Sri Lankan wants to improve its punctuality. Though this looks a minor points, such small changes in passenger dynamics will help more international passengers to shift to Sri Lankan. Although I have many negatives been a frequent flyer, this to me is a good initiative.
