Former member of the Northern Provincial Council M.K. Sivajilingam has been arrested by the Valvettithurai Police today for failing to appear in the court.
Police said the Point Pedro Magistrate has issued a warrant against Sivajilingam for avoiding court proceedings over a case in 2018.
Earlier, Mr. Shivajilingam was arrested and released in connection with commemorating the birthday of LTTE leader Prabhakaran at Theeruvil, Valvettithurai on November 26, 2018.(DSB)

Mr.Sivajilingam should realize that war criminals are placing so called expertise to defend the crimes against humanity among Sri Lankans and to the World. In that atmosphere, Mr.Sivajilingam is not counted at all.
