SL register record win as it hammers England by 219 runs

Top four scored fifties before Akila Dananjaya bagged a four-fer to help the hosts win by 219 runs.

Match was called off due to rain and Sri Lanka have been awarded the game. The hosts have won the inconsequential encounter by 219 runs (DLS Method).

This is the second highest victory margin in a rain-reduced contest. The series ends 3-1 in England's favour, but Sri Lanka will take heart from their all-round dominance.

This is the first time England have lost an ODI by 200+ runs.

Niroshan Dickwella was awarded as the Player of the match while Man of the series went to Eoin Morgan.

If corruption is stopped our team can win matches. The problem is that at SLC from the top officials to players to coaches are all corrupt and fix matches. So what we actually watch is not a genuine game anymore but a fixed match. Most people have stopped watching games. If you want to see who wins just go to these gambling sites and see the odds of any match. So so sad.

... and keep those arms in good shape so that you can hit the ball over the ropes instead of giving 'baba' catches to the sweepers!!!

Chief Financial Officer remanded = 1st win.Remand the other rogues = all wins

    abeyrohan Wednesday, 24 October 2018 10:13 AM

Sara, I fully agree with your equation. Now the players know some action is taken to cleanup SLC of rogues. They can get on with cricket with an open mind. When few rogues benefit through cricketers sweat it is frustrating. Get hold of the other rouges as well and put them behind bars.
