A recovered COVID-19 patient from Anuradhapura has reportedly tested positive for the virus for the second time, health authorities said.
The patient was released from the Homagama Hospital after being recovered from the virus and returned home in Anuradhapura. When she was undergoing another spell of self-quarantine for 14 days at home, she had developed symptoms of vomiting and had fainted. She had been admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital, where she was subjected to another PCR test.
The test results have shown that she had tested positive for the virus again.
