Former Parliamentarian Ramanayake and another person have been arrested on charges of obstructing police duties.
According to the Police, the former MP, a resident of the Madiwala MPs residence complex, was visited by a person from Piliyandala who arrived in a cab with no valid curfew permit on Monday morning (April 13) When questioned by Police officers on duty at the complex, the visitor had reportedly made a phone call to former Minister Ramanayake.
Ramanayake who arrived at the entrance shortly afterwards had then threatened the police officers and attempted to take the visitor inside the premises. The Mirihana Police had in turn arrested the visitor on charges of violating curfew regulations and the Minister for obstruction of police duties.

A true leader like Ranjan will use all the adversity as publicity to gain more popularity for the upcoming election. Way to go Ranjan. My vote is for you from whatever party.

This man is truly insane. After all his phone call drama if people are still defending him that is a sorry state for our country and a reflection of our country’s biased partisan politics without conscious/rational reasoning. Sincerely hope Ranil/Sajith will leave him out of the party so that he can go on making films on parliamentary jokes..!!! There where he belongs.
