MP Ranjan Ramanayake, who is in remand custody was brought by the Prison officials to the Government Analyst Department for a voice test this morning over his controversial phone conversations.
MP Ramanayake was to be presented before the Government Analyst for a voice test on January 23 according to the earlier court instructions.
However, the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court had informed the Magazine Prison not to produce MP Ramanayake before the Government Analyst for a voice test on the particular day but to produce on another date when informed by court.

Does the Government Analyst Department will need 10 months for the result, just as long as it takes to distinguish a toy pistol from a real pistol? No bail before the result. Poor Ranjan.
