President Maithripala Sirisena should officially request the Singapore Government to extradite former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran to Sri Lanka, who is allegedly connected to the bond scam, JO National Organizer MP Dullas Alahapperuma said today.
Addressing a media conference, he said having been issued a notice over Mr Mahendran to appear before the CID before March 8, the CID had reportedly mentioned that Mr Mahendran was not present in the given address in Singapore.
“We saw recently how the Government took prompt action against the Defence Attache of the Sri Lankan High Commission in UK Brigadier Priyanka Fernando, who was suspended over making a throat slitting gesture and showing the Sri Lankan Flag. Why such action cannot be taken against the mastermind of the bond fraud,” MP Alahapperuma asked. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

Because the Brigadier is a Sri Lankan Citizen who failed to follow diplomatic protocol. Arjun is a Singaporean citizen who is entitled to protection from his government.

Mr. Dallas Alahapperuma, this is one thing you said right. Not only that, we will remind you one more thing so that you can push President on that too. Before,during and after the last local government election,President emphasized that not only he will eradicate corruption,but also catch those who involved and make sure they will be imprisoned. Now,President having a hard time to find a suitable person to be appointed as Police,Law and Order Minister. Why don't you request President to take this ministry and do the job efficiently and honestly.

Mahendran is a ranil's cheap product.these are the garbage thieves ranil associating.same as mahendran ranil too must go to jail for this 11 billion robery.he took central bank under him while ravi was finance minister,so without disturb frm ravi he did the robery with mahendran.
