Over 1500 PCR tests within yesterday

Some 1,553 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests were carried out within Monday (27), the Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.
He said that it was the highest number of PCR tests conducted within a day.
Meanwhile, he said that facilities for PCR tests are now available at 16 institutions including the Batticaloa hospital.

They have to test them again. Important stat is not the tests done but the positive percentage of the tests done.

I have been writing a lot of comments in the past few days but nothings got published. I guess the new papers are playing politics and do not respect true opinion of the people. any way let me try again In this article the DGHS is saying they are doing 1500 test a day. Brovo but my dear doctor our numbers are going up daily. Our people have made a lot of sacrifices with a almost 40 days forced lock down. the government is going by the medical advice. It seems the medical advice is failing miserably. Please, we have some really good doctors in this country get their advice. Do not play with peoples lives.
