A 48-year-old mother was killed and her husband and daughter injured when their car collided head on with a cab near Biyagama entrance on the Kadawatha-Matara Expressway this morning.
The injured were admitted to the National Hospital, Colombo.
The tragedy occurred when they were returning from Kurunegala after attending a funeral. (W.D.M. Vithanage)

Well the car or cab must have gone the wrong way - these are one way roads.

This accident once again reminds the importance of seat belt. Sorry for the lady who was killed in this accident.
