Nine yr. old twins and 6 yr. old poisoned by father

A set of nine year old twins and a six year old child who were suspected to have been poisoned by their father was admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital, police said.

The father had also consumed poison soon after and was admitted to the Karapitiya hospital, police said.

It is learnt that the mother of the children was working abroad and the family was living in Thorangalwatta, Hikkaduwa.

Police said the children are in critical condition and that statements will be recorded when they are awake.

The plight of a family ..Father playing the role of both PARENTS in a world where men were never schooled to give care like mothers ..What is this development if we cannot have enough to keep family units together ? The VIPS are even traveling as families even when their work demand them to be ..but turn a blind eye to this sad situation..this is not one failure after may successful story but one too many

Lal, these buggers need the money to buy most expensive luxury vehicles. Even MY3 and MR imported two Mercedes just recently as if they don't have vehicles. Except a minority of good politicians, rest should be locked up in jail for life.
