Muslims in Sri Lanka will celebrate the Ramazan Festival tomorrow (24), following the sighting of the new moon, the Colombo Grand Mosque said.

Ramadan 2020, during which Muslims observed a month-long fast, began on April 24 this year and will come to an end on May 24. Ramadan ends with the “festival of breaking the fast” or Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid-ul Fitr is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of Islamic calendar.
