Do not blame the government for everything. Have we ever tried to educate people on proper ways to reduce waste and Waste Management. Let this incident open our eyes and pray for the victims.

A tragedy which could've been averted....but due to greediness of politicians and drug dealers so many people lost their lives....so sad.....

    Ganesh Saturday, 15 April 2017 11:30 AM

This tragedy could have been certainly prevented if the authorities concerned and nasty politicians had been consciously alert .Now how are you going to revive the lives of the unnecessarily dead people by your indifference and negligence .This is not a natural disaster .This is a reckless man made disaster .

    Angel Saturday, 15 April 2017 11:48 AM

Very sad and a tragedy! Poor and forgotten and ignored till an election.

    AjithZ Saturday, 15 April 2017 12:37 PM

Needless loss of valuable life. Wonder whether our politicians have any value for these lives. One thing for sure. Now the anti government forces will go to town trying to get the maximum advantage from this crisis. What a sad situation. Our sympathy to all the affected people. Hope at least now some action will be taken to remove this garbage dump.

Ranjan Fernando Saturday, 15 April 2017 12:43 PM

With such stupid politicians in power what chance do the people have. It's better to bring the 225 jokers in the parliament and bury them in this dump.

    Bala Saturday, 15 April 2017 01:01 PM

Yes every govt neglected this problem for the past twenty years though at election time they said it will be moved somewhere. Hope even now some proper method of waste disposal is implemented.

    Aruna Saturday, 15 April 2017 01:23 PM

MR Regime could have found some solutions for this before hand!
