Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratna today closed the case against a suspect who was charged with foretelling the President's death via social media.

The Magistrate released the suspect from the case when the CID informed court that the Attorney General had informed the CID that they would not take further steps to investigate the allegations against the suspect Vijayamuni Vijith Rohana of Abeyratna Lane Boralesgamuwa.
