A man was arrested with heroin worth Rs. one million by the Police Anti-Corruption Unit during a raid in Borella this morning.
Police said 300 packets of heroin valued at Rs. 1000 each and another packet weighing 35 grams were found in the possession of the suspect during the raid carried out on information received by the Colombo Anti-Corruption Unit.
He is to be produced in the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.

There is no severe punishment for drug smugglers and dealers in Sri Lanka. no matter how many arrested the drug deal will continue.
