Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is to leave for South Korea along with a team of MPs from the Joint Opposition tonight, sources close to him said today.
Former Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris was to accompany him and others. During the stay, he will meet with the Sri Lankan community living there.
After the defeat at the Presidential Election in January, last year, he undertook foreign visits to countries such as Japan, Uganda and Thailand.
MPs Dalles Alahapperuma , Bandula Gunawardane and Piyal Nisantha are among the delegation members.(Kelum Bandara)

Mahinda Rajapakse should take a lesson from the former Army despot who ruled Myanmar for a long period and became a Buddhist Monk after his defeat at the polls instead of going to South Korea for Gin Sen parties with his close supporters including GL.
