The main accomplice of notorious drug kingpin Kanjipani Imran, who was arrested along with ‘Makandure Madush’ in Dubai, was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) at Jampettah Street in Colombo.
Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera said the 39-year-old suspect, was identified as Abdul Gafoor Mohamed Rizwan alias G. Rizwan.
He was arrested on possession of 6 grammes of heroin and a hand grenade.
The spokesman said the suspect was the main shooter of Kanjimani Imran and he was wanted over four counts of attempted murder in 2018.

Actually his name is Kanjipana Imran which mean porridge pot. May be he was doing porridge business before drug business.
