Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today permitted former minister Johnston Fernando to travel to Singapore for medical treatment for his wife.
His passport had been impounded in a case filed by the Bribery Commission alleging that he had not declared his assets and liabilities.
The Court directed him to return to Sri Lanka by September 6. (Farook Thajudeen)
